Alexios at 2 weeks old

March 21st marked 2 weeks in the life of young Alexios. He is still a baby but growing so fast. Deb went down to the pasture yesterday so these are photos from her visit.
Mother and son seemed a bit tired and irritable. This may have had something to do with the winter storm that moved through over the two days prior. No doubt Alexios wasn't able to burn off all his youthful energy and may have been a bit of a challenge to keep under shelter.

Here he appears to be contemplating what sort of trouble he can get into.

When noticed, a look of pure innocence transformed his face.

Anastacia really wanted to be left alone once she'd been fed. No doubt she was enjoying the warm sun.

Alexios was a sleepy little guy, also enjoying the sunshine.

He did manage a spurt of energy.

It didn't last long though.

Deb didn't stay long. As she was leaving they seemed to pose for her.

Tomorrow I have arranged my work schedule so that I can set up office down at the pasture. Hopefully they will be more receptive to being handled as we really do need to work on getting that halter onto Alexios. Of course, there will be plenty more photos.
