In celebration of his first week of life, here are a few shots of the young one from today.
Deb may have discovered today how he made his great escape. If that is the case, then Anastacia figuring out how to join him is all the more remarkable. She had to have really studied on that.
He is still nursing voraciously. Anastacia is on extra rations of grain and a supplement designed for nursing mares. This should help her meet his nutritional needs as well as her own.
He finally lost his umbilical cord today.
He is coordinated for his age, this ear scratching is no easy feat for one so young.
Yet, he is still just a baby who needs lost of naps.
These daily visits will probably last about another week and then start to taper off. I'm sure, though, that there will still be regular updates for all of you who have grown fond of the little guy.
