There is a very specific behavior that horses exhibit to show submission. Foals in particular will do this with adult horses as a way to show that they are helpless and no threat. They smack their lips in a rather exaggerated fashion that is a universal indicator amongst horses. Before today, we had not seen Alexios doing this at all. Today he had an interaction with his sire, Favorito, where he behaved in a manner that was fitting. Interestingly enough, Anastacia had made sure to keep between the two of them until now, but today made no move to intervene. It may very well be that she finally was comfortable since Alexios had started showing the appropriate respect to his father.
Favorito has been showing interest in the young one all along. Here, he is being very calm and non-threatening. This is his first baby also, so no doubt he has been very curious about this little being that just appeared one morning.
